This book does a good job in covering relevant topics related to organizational behavior. This text is easy to read and follow. Organizational behaviour offers several ideas to management as to how human factor should be properly emphasized to achieve organizational objectives. Management of change: concept, Lewin‘s stages of change, forces of change, resistance of change, and managing planned change. Come on! The first chapter introduces the subject, and the text then proceeds to cover a range of topics, including: leadership, teamwork, individual performance, organizational cultures and the role of communication. Define OB and explain the history and developments in the field of OB? It does not go particularly deeply into any one area, but provides a solid look at a wide variety of topics, concepts, and theories. However, there is no overall framework that can easily connect topics across all 15 chapters. As I have stated in my review in another section, the textbook can be improved by connecting topics across chapters using a broad framework as well as by incorporating an integrated case study. Organisational Structure- Knowledge about types of organizations and associated structures: Functional, product-based, geographical based, multi-functional and multi-divisional structures, centralized and decentralized and matrix-based. The textbook has easily divided sections to quickly navigate through the various chapters and sections of the textbook. The "OB Toolbox" sections give students many tips on getting, keeping, and succeeding their first professional job--that is great. Although it is also addressed in other sections, there is a section that specifically addresses various concerns related to multiculturalism and the diverse nature of organizations today.
